The Walking Dead (TV series)
The Walking Dead (October 31, 2010 - Present) is a AMC horror series, based on the comic book series The Walking Dead By Robert Kirkman. A group of survivors face a zombie apocalypse while trying to stay alive. After being attacked by zombies known as the Walkers, they must survive and work together in order to keep the survivors alive.
The series stars Rick Grimes who played the leading role as sheriff's deputy. When he woke up from a coma he discovers that a zombie apocalypse has taken over by Walkers, he becomes the leader of a group of survivors in Georgia as they attempt to survive and protect against the zombie apocalypse.
In Season One all The humans have been effected by a pathogen, turning them all into zombies known as Walkers. Humans who get bitten by a walker come back from the dead as a walker.
AMC announced the Series will wrap wp with additional 24 episodes during 2021 and 2022.[1]

AMC Announced the Series will wrap up with additional 24 episodes in Season 11 which began airing in early 2022.[1]

Netflix released Season 9 on September 2019, and Season 10 in July 2021[3]
Production
Production delay
During production of The 16 Episodes In Season 10,[3] The series was delayed due to production issues due to the[4] Covid-19 pandemic, pushing Season 10 to release to AMC on October 4th, 2020[3] and the remaining episodes to release on April 4th, 2021.[3] Season 10 released to Netflix on July 26th, 2021.
